In his connected vehicle services management role at FEV, Shamoun leads a team that provides telematics and infotainment engineering services, and automated test systems to OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers and many others. Under Shamoun’s technical guidance, the Connected Vehicle Group has been recognized as a pioneer in the telematics and infotainment field for system integration, requirements development and gap analysis, test case development and traceability, test and validation, automated HIL and HMI test systems, voice recognition testing, and multi-language testing.
Prior to FEV’s acquisition of DGE in 2013, Shamoun served as Director of Connected Vehicle Services at DGE, where he successfully grew a telematics team that, among other projects, worked as the system integrators for the FCA Uconnect, and Fiat BEV500. Shamoun has also held positions with LG Electronics and GM-OnStar.
